Belvedere's kindergarten was founded in 2013 by Virginie Oudiette. Originally created for the needs of the hotel staff it became opened to children from poor families in neighboring villages. Lunch, shower, toys, etc... are provided and the children spend the day together with a mistress in a calm and secure environment, until the age of 5. Afterwards several of them benefit from either partial assistance or full support for their schooling. This action continues thanks to the hotel's guests and the financial support of 2A2M (Association d'Aide aux Mères Malagasy).
